USA tops Fiba

The USA team reclaimed there throne after so many years of failure and triumphs in the newly ended successful event FIBA world cup. This time with a young superstar that is the key player of there championship. If Michael Jordan during his prime years could have joined Fiba and for sure won a championship with the USA team.

But Kevin Durant a young superstar was the key player that established and held the USA the new FIBA 2010 world champions. Kevin Durant has remained focused and determined to win. With winning games and a back to back 30 points above performance. Kevin Durant was just ready for this kind of contest as his team defeated the host Turkey.

As the USA squad battle it out with young superstars instead of those high talented and profiled athletes. Still the USA team managed to capture the championships with this kind of talents that they have. Rumors had been the determination for the USA squad and made the players strong. Since a lot of them said they can't win the championship with this kind of lineup they have. But the USA squad prove them wrong as its another history in the making for them.

Fiba World cup

Fiba world cup just started and just like Fiba it will be the battle of basketball from all nations involved. My favorite teams are Spain, Usa and Argentina since I knew good and great nba players there.

Spain somehow will miss the presence of Pau Gasol as he decided not to play for this coming Fiba world cup. For sure his presence will be missed and his court plays will not be there to be executed. Only his brother Marc Gasol will represent for him but still spain needs more great and experienced players. As they will defend their crown that they captured last 2006.

Argentina is still quick and dangerous as ever. As Manu Ginobili and the rest of his teammates will be there to play. Argentina are capable of doing hustle plays and crucial basket. As they prove to be one of the most legitimate teams around the world that joined the Fiba world cup. San Antonio superstar Manu Ginobili will once again lead his team mates in the quest for there team.

USA is just one of those all star teams that I know. Merely because most of them are from the well known Nba basketball. Watching this team play is like watching an all star game during Nba all star weekend. As there team are composed of elite nba superstars and players. One of my favorite players that played for this team is the Oklahoma superstar Kevin Durant. USA should come up big as they are expected to be dominant and one of the most feared team.

Lakers take back game five

The defending champions Los Angeles Lakers take back game 5 to lead the NBA playoff series 3-2. They defeated the youthful Oklahoma Thunder on there home court. Pau Gasol landed with 25 points 10/16 shooting from the floor. He had a double-double performance that grabbed 11 rebounds. Andrew Bynum also added 21 points and also 11 rebounds. The big men of Lakers dominated the boards in which Gasol and Bynum shared both double figures.

Kevin Durant had his bad shooting 5/14 in the field with 17 points in the game. Westbrook was also bothered by Kobe Bryant's defense as Westbrook finished 15 points 4/13 from the floor.

The Lakers showed a lot of aggressiveness plays and defense that lead the Thunder to discombobulate. Steal after steal as their turnovers were piled up.
