Dallas Mavericks 2011 Nba Champions

The Nba 2011 champions are the Dallas Mavericks as the team earned its first franchise title. As the series ended with 4-2 with the final score 106-95 in favor of the Dallas Mavericks. The Miami Heat failed to win and make it a 3-3 series to force a deciding game 7. At the first half the Dallas Mavericks had small lead and during the start of the 2nd half it was an all out war between both teams. As Dwane Wade would exerts all his efforts in trying to make the game close and tight till the end. On the 4th quarter the Heat would try to spoil the Dallas Mavericks big men Dirk Nowtizki and Tyson Chandler putting them into foul trouble. But Dallas bench and other back up players would step up and help there team. J.J. Barrea and Jason Terry would nail their 3 point shots and Jason Kidd of dive and hustle for the ball.

Wade lack support from his fellow superstars Lebron James and Chris Bosh who were seemingly slipping from the whole picture. Chris Bosh would hesitate from his shots and would miss some free throws. Lebron James would have some several turnovers including some offensive fouls and out of bounds calls from the referee.

Behind the teams success was also the long time dream of several Dallas players.

Dirk Nowitzki

After 13 years of playing in the Nba as a professional basketball player Dirk Nowitzki would earn his first ever Nba championship title. Dirk explains how he really worked hard half of his life in trying to achieve what players in the Nba was trying to accomplish and now he made this so far and Dirk was so emotional for his first Nba championship title. Dirk was so happy that he left the game early in the final quarter with just 5 seconds life on the clock.

Dirk went straightly to the locker room as tears of joy were seen on his eyes. Dirk also elaborated that it was indeed a sweet revenge for them from the 2006 lost against the Miami Heat. When the Dallas Mavericks won 2 straight games at home but lost 4 straight to Miami. Dirk Nowitzki would also earn his first Nba finals Mvp as he really deserves the award. Dirk would struggle early in the game with poor shooting to end the first half. But when the game hits 4th quarter he stood up to the challenge and would his shots count when his team needs it most.

Dirk really prove to be consistent both physically and mentally. Dirk outlasted a sick game 4 and an injured his left middle finger with a teared tendon. But Dirk would be consistent especially on the crucial part of the game and his free throws. In the start of the finals between the Miami Heat Dirk would ask help from his teammates especially on the offense side. Since he knows he is the main target of the Miami Heat to be shut down. And who would step up the moment he will be guarded defensively and will have a bad game. And soon on the coming games Dirk's teammates would step up to help his loads. Then Jason Kidd, J.J. Barream Jason Terry, Tyson Chandler and the rest of the troops would be there to help Dirk out.

Jason Kidd

The 38 year old from San Francisco California Jason Kidd finally capture one Nba championship title after several attempts and appearance in the Nba finals. Kidd had chances and opportunities before when his New Jersey Nets team went to the finals two times. But they lost to the Los Angeles Lakers and to the San Antonio Spurs. But now Kidd accomplished what he had dream long. To get an Nba Championship with all the hard work and efforts he gave.

Jason Kidd would be consistent in the game as he knows his contributions are needed by Dirk Nowitzki and the rest of this teammates would benefit from it. His defense against talented super stars like Kevin Durant(Oklahoma Thunder) and Lebron James would a big factor. As Kidd would easily swipe the ball from their position and would also steal and take it away from them.

Jason Terry

Another player from the Dallas Mavericks who have been playing for quite a long time. Jason Terry even have a Nba Trophy Tattoo on his right arm. And Terry would tell the media that he dream this for a long time and would have end up a decision in removing the tattoo if they can't win a championship this series. Jason Terry had been Dirk Nowitzki's side score duo especially in the fourth quarter. And they had been dreaming this title for all of there life were they put all efforts on the line. Terry answered Dirk Nowitzki's call to help him offensively as Dirk was really having a hard time in the game. As a double or even triple team would guard him but when it happens Dirk would dish the ball to his teammate Jason Terry and would get an easy shot.

Peja Stojakovic

One of the rosters before of the underdog Sacramento Kings that were having a great finals against the Los Angeles Lakers. Peja Stojakovic finally capture an Nba title and someone full filled a dream come true on his professional basketball career. Peja Stojakovic had his sweetest revenge from the Los Angeles Lakers. When his team Sacramento Kings lost to the hands of the 3 peat champions. It was a dream come true for every shooter in the Nba to be there standing and waiting for the ball to be pass. And there was Peja left alone in an open place in the court and could have saved his Sacramento Kings from the hands of the Lakers.

But this time Peja Stojakovic prove about something to himself that he was ready to forget the past. And Peja accepted his defeat but would come back as a better shooter and a player playing for the Dallas Mavericks. He would contribute to his team offensively answering and nailing every three point shot he can give to them.

Nba's One of the greatest winning comeback

It was game 2 of the Nba finals 2011 between the host Miami Heat and the Dallas Mavericks were it would be one of the most memorable comeback games of the Nba finals. When the game was about to end and when Dwane Wade would go unstoppable on the 3rd quarter. Wade would made a three pointer to extend there lead to a 15 point deficit. And after the shot the Miami squad on the bench including the players on the court would celebrate.

But as soon as the 5:00 minute mark of the 4th quarter would start. It would also ignite the defense and offense of the relentless Dallas Mavericks. Were in they would crawl back and bite those 15 point deficit and make a huge come back. Possession after possession as the heat could not capitalize on there turnovers. And being bothered by the Dallas defense being showed and established. As the heat squad continued to be scoreless and bothered from the great defense the Dallas is throwing at them.

As Jason kidd, Dirk Nowitzki and the rest of there teammates help one another on defense and offense to complete a late fourth quarter comeback. But it was the Dallas Mavericks ace player Dirk Nowitzki would be the main highlight of the game. Dirk would lead his team to an stellar and unforgettable performance he will ever play. Dirk would nail all open and contested shots he can get. And would seemingly find a way to score and penetrate on the defense of Miami. And on the last possession they will ever have when the score was tied 90 all. With 50 seconds on the clock Dirk would get an open screen from Tyson Chandler and would nail clutch a three point shot. And the 3 point shot made by Dirk Nowitzki would give the Dallas Mavericks there instant lead of the game.

With 25+ seconds remaining Miami Heat would give Dallas a good inbound play. Mario Chalmers would drain a 3 point shot in the corner to tie up the game 93 a piece. And after that shot Dallas would call a time out and talk things over.

As soon as the time out was over. Both teams would be on the edge of there seats as the fans of the stadium would rise up for the last seconds of the Game. Others would think that there will be an overtime and others would expect a game wining shot. And on the inbound play the ball was passed to the hands of Dirk Nowitzki. Then Dirk would do his moves on the court guarded by Chris Bosh. But Dirk would find a way to settle the game and lift his team to victory as he surpasses Chris Bosh defense.

Dirk would get away and would make a layup using his injured left hand. The hand he had a tendon injury but would make the shot count. As it will be remembered as one of the greatest late comeback's of the Nba History. The Dallas Mavericks would capture game 2 of the best of seven series with the final score 95-93.

Mavericks Sweep Lakers - Disgraced there coach

The Dallas Mavericks advantage to the 3rd round(Conference Finals) of the Nba Playoffs as they sweep and defeated the defending champions Los Angeles Lakers 4-0 standing. Lead by there superstar Dirk Nowitzki the Dallas came out strong and prepared for the game. As Dirk Nowitzki get's help from his teammates who were also lock and loaded for the game. As Jason Terry and Peja Stojakovic were mad from the three point area. Hitting from all angles and all areas beyond the arc. Tyson Chandler was also a beast in the paint area as Andrew Bynum and Pau Gasol were meant nothing.

Jason Terry was sizzling hot from the start of the game to the end. As Terry registered a playoff record of 9/10 three point shots. Terry only missed one three point attempt but someone kept shooting three point shots till the game ends. Same goes with his team mate Peja Stojakovic who was perfect from the three point area. Peja Stojakovic made 6/6 three point shots who did not missed and still manage to shot three point shots until the last minute of the game. Dirk Nowitzki also added some three point shots and J.J. Barrea. The total three point attempts of the Mavericks was stunning 23 three point shots were made.

The Lakers were no were to be found as the deficit of the game were getting huge. And game would wrapped up to 122-86 in favor of the Dallas Mavericks.

Phil Jackson Disgraced

This might be the last playoff or even the last game that Phil Jackson will coach his Lakers team. And this last game was such a disgrace for him. At the last minute of the game as temper and frustrations were filling the team members of the Lakers. As if they were playing like no sportsmanship and not like champions. Ron Artest had a fast break situation but blow the layup and missed it. And as they gamble the ball with Tyson Chandler Artest committed a obvious foul.

When Lamar Odom was throws an elbow to Dirk Nowitzki and was automatically ejected in the game. And When J.J. Barea was driving into the basket and Andrew Bynum hits Barea with a flagrant foul and was also ejected from the game. Barea was on the air when Bynum hit him hard with his elbow and Barea fell down hard on the wood. If you could just imagine how small Barea compared to Andrew Bynum. That's a point guard against a center whose size is triple compared to a point guard.

It was a bad intention and move for Bynum and Odom. We all know they were frustrated but for the sake of the game and some manner's they should act like professionals. Both Bynum and Odom left the game because they were ejected and all Phil Jackson can do was bow down and shake his head.

At least the Lakers could have showed some poise and respect to the other team. Not putting something or making something worse for others. I was really mad and disappointed on what Odom and Bynum just did. They could have just accept defeat and take responsibilities as a losing team.

This is how they show there coach what are there true colors? They could have just finished the game nice and easy and tribute this game to Phil Jackson even if they lost. I don't see something wrong if that's what they did. And all they did was put there coach into shame and disgraced phil Jackson. For after all what Jackson did to the team from the 3 peat championship to the back to back championship on 2010-2011 season.
