Yao Ming Retires

The biggest basketball star from China announces it's official retirement as a professional basketball who made it to the Nba. Yao made his final decision last July 20, 2011 due to his constant food and leg injuries that bothered him in the middle of his career. The 7 foot 6 inch center player of china that manage to play in the Nba would officially end his career without getting what every player wants and that's winning a championship.

Yao was drafted by the Houston Rockets on 2002(Round 1, 1st overall pick) And would soon start to establish his name. Yao would capture and satisfy his fans with this agile moves were in he could play both inside and out. Yao Ming would also solidify his status with his high free throw percentage as a big man.

Yao Ming was known to be one of the most dominant players in the league playing at center position. His legs are like three trunk that holds his position well in the post area. And his height as 7'6 footer is his advantages not to be blocked easily by his defenders. And His feathery touch makes him shoot softly using a left/right hook. Yao Ming developed his hook shots due to his constant practice and also with the help of Nba hall of fame Hakim Olajuwon.

Yao Ming also had a good perimeter shooting were in he can drain those shots easily especially when he is wide open. There were also some instances that Yao shoots a long fade away shot or shoots a three point shot and made it. Yao was merely unpredictable and he was also a good in both offense and defensive rebounds. Yao is one of those big defenders inside the painted area were in he could just easily block his opponents shots or layup. With his height it's just easy to chase those layups and jump shots and swipe them away. One of those elite guard players who find a way to avoid Yao mings block shots was Allen Iverson. Iverson would make a layup and use the glass to make the shot fall into the basket. But Iverson would not just use the glass like normal layups that other players do. Iverson would use to hit almost the tip of the glass just to bypass and avoid Yao Mings block.

Yao Ming was influenced and was determined to one of the most competitive centers of the Nba during his time. He was determined to establish himself as one of the most dominant centers next to his rival Shaquille O'neal.

Shaquille Oneal Retires

One of the most charismatic and most dominant player in the Nba that played the center position retires. Shaquille Oneal retires at the age of 39 years old. He ended his career with 19 years playing in the Nba and managed to win 4 championships.

Shaquille Oneal's career started when he was drafted in Orlando Magic. And began his professional basketball days in the team together with Penny Hardaway and Anderson. And years after years of development and progress in the court. Shaq would be one of the most dominant and unstoppable centers in the league.

With his size and brute force there is no one could stop him when he gets the position in the shaded area or the paint section. It's either the person guarding him would just foul him to prevent the easy 2 points and let Shaq earn his points from the free throw line.

Sine Shaq's weakness was to get points from the line. And he always struggles in the free throw line all life of his career. And the only thing people can do to stop him was to foul him quickly or he will get an instant 2 points.

Lakers Team

Shaquille Oneal would soon move to another team and this time he will establish and earn what all players want to achieve. Shaq would tandem with future hall of famer Kobe Bryant and would accomplish a 3 peat. The lakers squad would dominate a 3 straight championship title and would be one of the greatest teams that played in the Nba and Shaq would earn 3 Nba Finals MVP. Shaq would dominate his opponent and would just crush them instantly to whoever is guarding him in the center position.

Together would Kobe Bryant the lakers would cruise to some dramatic playoff achievements like sweeping all there enemies and reach the Nba Finals.

Miami Squad

For some years the lakers would suffer all star crisis and doubt to whoever is the real ace player of the team. And this would end up Shaq leaving the team as to prove that he is a dynamic player. Shaquille Oneal would join the Miami heat team and would team up with Dwane Wade.

And together they would capture an Nba Championship in 2006 versus Dallas Mavericks. Shaq would earn his 4th Nba championship Title and would fulfill the dream of another veteran and one of most defensive centers in the league Alonzo Mourning.
