Kobe Bryant The Black Mamba

I am an NBA fan but what I have noticed about Kobe Bryant is that he don't have a nickname. Just like Allen Iverson "The Answer" or Paul Pierce "The Truth" and Lebron James is "King James" those names offen called to great players. But What I found out is that Kobe Bryant the L.A. Lakers superstar have not earned a name. Maybe because he claimed before to be the second Michael Jordan? As to my reaction on that why should he be the next Jordan?

Usually commentators or great writers pick names on the players. As to there appreciation on a certain player. They give them titles and those are there nicknames. I found out that it was Kobe himself made his own nick name and he name him self "The Black Mamba".

Lebron James did not even consider him self to be the next legend at his age. Were in he can broke so many records and hall of Farmer's. Instead he plays as his own and wins for his team. There are also other players who manage to be successful considering they idolize one common player.


I don't know what came into his mind acquiring that name. And how it is related to his career as a professional basketball player. Some fans considered him as the second Michael Jordan but for me he do not deserve it. Their can only be one Michael Jordan and that was the greatest player I have witnessed.

First and for most Michael had so many talents when it comes to individual skills. On the title he has 6 crowns on the Chicago Bulls. If nicknames were included He is known as "His Airness", "Air Jordan" and many more. How can Kobe Bryant compare his skills to the all time greatest player. If Michael was still young he would still reign in the game he believes he destroyed.

Almost everyday I hear this conversations and debates. I hear again all about their updated surveys and current standings. The month of election is getting nearer as day pass by. All other media are focusing on that aspect and their attention is mainly there.

No one cared that there is a tropical depression and the first typhoon to enter the country.
No one cared much about the earth hour.
No one cared much that this week is the week for Jesus Christ.
No one cared that El Niño is killing all crops.
No one care that much that this month is a fire prevention month.
No one cared much to save water because drought is at its peak.
No one cared that the country is suffering from poverty.

What all do people speak about day by day are all the same. They are predicting who's gonna win and who will be the president. Why do it have to be like this always and there attention for a particular thing is lured away. It is really clear that people and media personnel anchored there news and stick on the side of politics. Almost everyday I red newspaper and almost all the author wrote about politics. There topics, discussions and articles are all politics. They even put and write contact information's for readers concerns. But the next issue of the news there you go again another politics story.

Blue Marlin at Jerry's Grill

Jerry's Grill will fill your emtpy stomach when you tried there foods. One of my favorites are there blue marlin that is so well flavored and mouth watering. So delicious the moment you taste this food it can release the stress from your work or study.

The great thing is that compared to other grill foods Jerry's Grill Blue Marlin is bigger. At the food service is great for people who loves to eat grilled foods. Equipped with the fork I gently sliced the meat and noticed that the food was juicy inside. This gives me the idea on the taste that might enter in my mouth.

And for that me and my fiance enjoyed good food. That once in while we experience to eat this kind of foods. And never the less gives us edge and judgement on how well the foods are cooked and prepared.

Pacquiao vs Clottey earned 700,000 Pay Per Views

The Event with Manny Pacquiao vs Joshua Clottey earned a 700,000 pay per views and a $35.3 million total revenue. The biggest crowd in US that gathered in the dallas cowboy stadium were around 50,000 boxing fans. The witnessed the pound for pound king to defend his WBO welterweight title againts Clottey. HBO present was so pleased because he was just expecting around 500,000 - 600,000 buys but turned out to be even more.

This just shows the popularity that Pacquiao had made around the world. And on his statement he said "Floyd Mayweather needs me, I don't need him. I came all this far in my boxing career without Mayweather, So I see no need to call him. I am open to fighting him anytime he wants to."

Legion Movie Opposite of Gabriel Movie

Gabriel Movie
A year ago I watched Gabriel movie and it was all about fallen angels. The plot of the story is that Gabriel was send into earth to save his fellow angels who failed the mission. At the same time saving humanity that darkness is conquering. And in the climax part of the movie were in the mastermind of the enemy showed up. Michael the head of the angels is the leader of the enemies. After Gabriel discovered the truth and his investigation continued that his fellow angels said about the leader. It was Michael the Archangel who was responsible for the chaos that happened. God sent Gabriel to stop his rampage and save man kind. On the outbreak and fighting scene Michael explains why he defy God and let Gabriel understood his side. He was fighting for his freedom and not a slave. Michael plans to make his own kingdom here on earth at the same time becoming the ruler.

Legion Movie

The story unfolds as God was aware that humanity have full of sins so on his punishment he sent angels down to earth. Michael the Archangel went to earth alone knowing that human kind will be wiped out. He finds the couple that there child will be the last hope that man kind will have. At first Michael was just a stranger and he explains his motive and agenda why he is here for a purpose. In the middle of the dessert they wait and guard as enemies come by and fight them. As all the enemies failed to kill them with Michael leading them. When the last wave of enemies approach they have a leader that Michael expected to face and encounter. Gabriel was sent to earth to finish the job that other fallen angels failed to do so. But Michael fights him and protects the last human being left on earth on a dessert.

The twist of the story are all most the same and the characters were just twisted. I was not surprised it did not hit a bell and sound a spark on the movie screens. Maybe people remembered that they saw this movie before but could not just remembered. Others may remember and intend to compared and end up saying it's the same thing.

SM Road closed

PUJ from Mandaue are no longer allowed to enter the road going tot he northwing side of SM Cebu. I don't know why they road is closed but it was really a great help and very accessable when it comes to passengers and people who stops and enters the SM establishment. Every time I pass on the other road were in the new route for the PUJ it just pisses me of looking at the dust and destroyed road. I just can say why the hell should we pass in this kind of road were in there was a nice and fast way. All I can do the moment the jeepney enters the rugged road is to cover my whole face. Not just my nose and mouth but my entire face since dust will cover the whole jeepney.

The moment you pass by looking at your back were white smoke and dust fills up the whole road. It's either the government or the SM establishment that was responsible for closing the road. If it was SM then why should they close the road were in its the easiest way for there clients and customers to pass thru there and reach directly to there estbalishment. Regardless of all this doubts Im very much dissapointed about the changes that was implemented on that area.

The Graduates

This month will be another part of there lives were in group of students who are all successful in there studies. After all the years of struggle and sleepless nights making projects and thesis comes an important day to remember. Maybe this month group of kagerons will emerge and will walk in the line to shake hands with the school admins and being congratulated. The walking on the aisle after your named is called is a must to hear. The applause of the crowd makes your parents proud of what you have accomplished.

As you recall your memories in the past years of studying and looking around you are all your classmates you also made it through. Your journey will not end and stop in here but this will be the start of a moment that can change your lives.

Lebron James A new record

Lebron James set a new record in the NBA making him the youngest player to reach 15,000 points and he broke Kobe Bryant's record making him the new title owner. He made his free thrown that sealed him a milestone after the Cleveland Cavaliers won against the Chicago bulls. The Cavaliers won their sixth straight game 92-85, making the Bulls suffer more and on their 10Th consecutive loss in the process. James finished the game with 29 points and 11 rebounds.

78 days of drought comes to end

After 78 days of drought and blazing heat from the sun comes the happening that all living things were waiting. The falling of the rain from the sky is the thing that matters at the moment. As it will replenish the thirst from the cracking soil and the dry and dull environment. As it pours from the heavens I was glad the plants can get a chance to feast on the blessings from above. After moments the rained stop and I hope that was enough to sink down the most deep parts of the land and soil and reach the main and big roots of the trees. And I also hope that other places were rained for they needed water badly and survive the continuing punishment caused by El Niño.

Earth Hour 2010

Earth Hour 2010 will be observed again in showing the care for mother earth. Michael Jordan Official Owner of the Charlotte Bobcast

Michael Jordan is now the official owner of the Charlotte Bobcats. Right now he admits he will face new challenges and obstacles as the new owner of the Nba team. The vote of the league's board of governors authorized Jordan as the owner of the Charlotte Bobcats.

"We have no doubt that he will apply himself in a similar manner to the way he did as one of the greatest players of all time."


The players of the team were also excited about the new owner and this can help them inspire a lot.

Pacquiao retains title over Clottey

Manny Pacquiao retains his title from the challenger Joshua Clottey. Almost all rounds were controlled by the pound for pound king having a unanimous decision to retain his crown. Clottey was helpless as the relentless attack of Pacquiao continues from all parts of his body. Pacquiao's main target was the body in which he landed good shots.


In front of 50,000 spectators and audience Pacquiao punished Clottey with combinations to the body throughout the bout. His hand speed dictated where he land accurate punches and to rip through Clottey’s gloves and land hard, punishing shots. His general leadership left almost all rounds on his wining side. Pacquiao was in command the entire way against a fighter who kept his gloves up high in front of his face.



Joshua Clottey also created a damage on Manny Pacquiao as he hit hard to places he landed. And it also hurt Pacquiao but it was like 10 punches thrown Clottey fights back with 2 punches of his own. Joshua Clottey never counter punched Pacquiao because he knows Pacquiao is a deadly counter puncher also. And to previous fights Manny was good in countering that lead his opponents down in the canvass.



When the fight was over and silver tongue Michael Buffer announced the winner. A reporter interviewed Pacquiao and he said he will wait for who will be the winner of Mosley vs Mayweather. After boxers hug each other showing sportmanship on Clottey's side he just realize that Pacquiao was just to much for him and accepted the defeat not like the other controversial defeats he had done before.

Pacquiao vs Clottey "The Event"

The pound for pound king will face one of the hard rocking chin in boxing Joshua Clottey it will happen on the dallas cowboys stadium and it will happen on march 13, 2010. Manny Pacquiao (50-3-2, 38 KOs), the 7 division world champion and the reigning WBO welterweight champion will defend his title from Ghanaian Joshua Clottey (35-3, 21 KOs), the former IBF Welterweight champion.

Who will win and who will prevail. Will the pound for pound king unleash another demolishing win just like what he did to Miguel Cotto. Or the cool and calm Joshua Clottey will just take the abuse and end up victorious in the bout. The dallas stadiums is know to hold up 100,000 spectators it will be loud crowd.

Pacquiaos trainer Freddie Roach predicted that there will be a knock out in the late game but it's not gonna be easy. Pacquiao said if there will be a knock out it will just be a bonus since Clottey is a very tought opponent. Mean while Clottey said I am not scared and he can handle Pacquiao's power.

Air

Recently the climate has been very hot and not only the temperature but also the wind that travels my skin. As I gasp for air to fill my lungs the air that I breath was not the usual taste. I can feel its temperature and its texture.

Pollution have done a greate damage on it for sure. It is rare to see birds fly in the sky lately. And if they were only on few places were trees grow big and tall. Even on park rare birds are be found. Among of them are found on low poplulated places were few people are living.

When can we breath like the air that taste like the sea breeze and when will be the time that the air that travels around us are clean and pure. By that time we will be in heaven I guess.
